Senior Cashier/Accounts Manager

Gorvins Residential LLP is a thriving, exciting, fast-growing residential conveyancing business. The business is expanding rapidly and is now looking to appoint a Senior Cashier /Accounts Manager to provide appropriate robust accounting checks, balances and procedures in support of the growth.

You will be an experienced cashier, who can demonstrate effectiveness in managing, developing and leading by example a team of six accounts staff. You will be passionate about accuracy and attention to detail and committed to meeting tight deadlines. You will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and have experience of volume residential conveyancing on Proclaim is essential. Managing an accounts team and overseeing and assisting with Payroll and VAT Returns, bank and control account reconciliations and preparation of month/year-end accounts is a pre-requisite.

A competitive salary is on offer, with 25 days holiday a year, membership of a group personal pension plan and cash health plan, and other benefits.

Head of Post-Completions Department

We are looking to appoint an experienced manager who understands the post-completion process and can manage a large team of post-completion case managers. Previous experience of the post-completion process in volume is essential as are the people skills to manage and improve the teams’ performance. Post Completions Team

We are looking to bolster our post-completion team who support our expanding residential conveyancing team. This may appeal to law graduates who are looking to get their first post in a law firm whilst they obtain their LPC or someone who is currently working in a post-completion role and looking to develop their career within a bigger firm undertaking a wider range of post-completion tasks and processes. Post Completion Administrators

We are looking to appoint two post-completion administrators to our growing team. Applicants are not required to have any legal knowledge as training will be provided however candidates will be required to demonstrate good organisational skills; attention to detail and an ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with third parties. Post-Completions Case Managers

Have you got an eye for detail? Can you spot typographical errors and fix them? Then this is the job for you. Ideally, applicants will have a minimum of 6 months post-completion experience however university graduates with a 2.1 in a non-law degree will be considered and training provided for candidates who are looking to develop a long term career in the legal arena. Trainer

We are looking for an experienced residential conveyancing trainer who can take their conveyancing knowledge and experience and pass this on to our expanding team of case managers using our Proclaim case management system. This is a new role and requires someone who can quickly assimilate our systems and procedures and devise an appropriate training programme to improve our teams conveyancing knowledge and use of the system delivering classroom-style training, reinforced by hands-on interaction with individuals on the job. – if this is for you please e-mail your cv to stuart.burn@gorvinsresi.com

Re-mortgage Team Leaders

We are currently looking for a number of team leaders to work within our re-mortgage team who must have a minimum of three years’ experience leading a team of at least six re-mortgage case managers – to apply please send your cv together with a covering letter to stuart.burn@gorvinsresi.com

Senior Residential Conveyancers

We always have vacancies for senior residential conveyancers qualified by examination or experience. Candidates must have knowledge and experience of working in a very busy department using case management software to undertake volume conveyancing transactions – please e-mail your cv to stuart.burn@gorvinsresi.com

Junior Residential Conveyancers

LPC Graduates

We are keen to recruit LPC graduates to work in our residential conveyancing department and learn how to become a residential conveyancer. Training will be provided – please e-mail your cv to stuart.burn@gorvinsresi.com

Training Contracts are available once LPC candidates have been employed in the department at least 18 months.
